Wielkimi krokami zbliża się tłusty czwartek, więc w tym tygodniu będzie u nas bardzo słodko;)
Mimo, że jestem wielką fanką pączków i tradycyjnych faworków, to postanowiłam w tym roku trochę urozmaicić ten "dzień słodyczy".
Jakiś czas temu byłam w Hiszpanii, konkretnie w Andaluzji, skąd wywodzą się te wspaniałe ciasteczka i postanowiłam w ostatniej chwili kupić te rarytasy w ramach pamiątki. Przyznam, że jadłam je po raz pierwszy, a w smaku bardzo przypominały polskie faworki, dlatego uznałam, że zrobienie ich na tłusty czwartek będzie świetnym pomysłem. Polecam każdemu, bo są bardzo proste i szybkie w wykonaniu.
Hiszpańskie ciasteczka na oliwie o smaku pomarańczowym (Tortas de aceite) [16 sztuk]*
- 50ml oliwy z oliwek
- skórka obrana z połówki pomarańczy + starta skórka z drugiej połówki
- łyżeczka mielonego kardamonu
- 180g mąki
- 1 łyżeczka drożdży instant
- 30g cukru
- szczypta soli
- 80ml ciepłej wody
- 1 łyżka sezamu
- cukier puder do posypania
Rozgrzej piekarnik do 190 stopni.
Na małym ogniu, na patelni rozgrzej oliwę, dodaj obraną skórkę z pomarańczy i smaż przez około 7 minut. Odstaw z ognia, wyjmij skórkę, dodaj łyżeczkę kardamonu i poczekaj aż całość ostygnie.
W dużej misce pomieszaj mąkę, drożdże, cukier, sól, sezam i startą skórkę z pomarańczy. Powoli dodawaj oliwę i wodę, cały czas mieszając aż powstanie jednolita masa. Zagnieć ją kilka razy. Utwórz rulon i podziel na 16 części. Każdą część rozwałkuj na kształt bardzo cienkiego (1-2mm) koła i ułóż na blasze wyłożonej papierem do pieczenia. Piecz przez ok. 15 minut, aż ciasteczka się zarumienią. Odstaw do ostygnięcia. Można posypać cukrem pudrem.
